Garmin Zumo 665
When you want the very best navigation system for your motorcycle, Garmin zumo 665 is it. All other competing brands look to the zumo 665 as the one to emulate.
This is a Navigation system that was designed by bikers for bikers, and it has advanced features such as XM satelite radio with weather and traffic available. It sports the latest in Bluetooth technology plus much more.
The zumo 665 has an easy to read format and an intuitive interface that makes entering information while driving down the road a snap even while wearing gloves! The screen is 4.3" and you can see it clearly in the bright sunlight or on a dark, winding road.
The rugged, waterproof case is UV resistant, fuel spray resistant and waterproof. This handy device also has a digital fuel gauge, so you will always know how many miles to go until fuel up time.
Right out of the box, it is loaded with everything you need to enjoy the open road with millions of points of interest including everything from coffee shops to ATM's. A neat feature is 3-D building views, and when you are approaching complicated junctions it offers lane assist to make sure there are no last minute turns.
Garmin zumo 665 comes with a state of the art GXM 40 XM antenna. In other words, just add your XM subscription, and you have 170 channels of digital, news, music, and sports. Of course, this is all commercial free. XM NavWeather and Xm NavTraffic are also available, so you can find trouble spots and avoid them.
The perfect companion to XM Satelite Radio is state of the art A2DP Bluetooth technology. Now listening to your music, talking on your phone, and still hearing the turn by turn voice prompts of the 665 is all possible. Add the bonus that you have an on-board MP3 player and your ready to go for a serious ride.
Another feature we would be remiss to mention is the micro SD card. This card makes it easy to add favorite rides, share excursions with friends, or even plan out your route to Sturgis and load it onto the Garmin zumo 665.
Here is what others have said about the zumo 665:
After receiving a replacement unit because of software issues, everything works great! I have the XM Subscription including NavWeather and NavTraffic. The NavWeather is especialy nice when traveling accross the country. Another of my favorite features is advanced lane notification so i don't have to guess where to be. In heavy freeway traffic in downtown areas, this has saved my bacon a couple times.
I just purchased the zumo 665. Once I got over the price I feel as if it was well worth it. I had the 220 and this unit has all the bells and whistles. The Bluetooth feature is awesome. I don't use it for my phone, but the XM radio and the turn-by-turn directions. The large screen is well worth the extra price by itself. Even in the bright sun I can see it perfectly.
I love my new Garmin zumo 665. The Nexrad Radar is one of the best features. I can see the weather ahead on the 665 way before I get into it. Another homerun feature is the advanced lane change feature. I love being able to see the overhead signs before I get to them. The total package is the bomb!
